The Coach, The Person, The Professional

The Professional Coach
I have 14 years of experience in the Human Resources field, and 12 of those years were spent in a management or executive level role. I have held positions at the executive level in Human Resources in such diverse industries as insurance fraud investigation, cutting-edge medical diagnostic services, and most recently, at a rapidly growing Internet marketing startup organization.

As an HR executive, I have played a significant role in strategic planning and organizational development, and have been instrumental in defining and promoting the corporate culture of the organizations with which I have been associated.

Over the years, I discovered that the most fulfilling part of my professional life was having the opportunity to coach and mentor literally hundreds of employees at all levels of an organization. There is no greater joy than helping someone reach his or her full potential, and I am always grateful to share their journey.

As a result of this realization, I made a conscious decision to embark on a new phase of my life journey by leaving the corporate world to focus completely on growing my coaching and consulting practice.

I am certified as a professional coach through the Coach Training Alliance, which is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Audiology at the University of Maryland. I have been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) since 2002.
